The launch to announce Backstage Theatre Group's hosting of the All Ireland One Act Finals in December takes place tonight, October 7, at Backstage Theatre, 8pm.
Writer, director and actor Gerry Stembridge will launch the event, which will also see the launch of the One Acts website - www.oneactslongford.com
Backstage Theatre Group chairman Declan Donohoe will host the night and he will introduce our Festival Director Ollie Kenny, who will talk about the festival itself and what it will mean to the people of Longford.
Also speaking on the night will be Longford Town Mayor, Brendan Gilmore and Longford County Mayor Peggy Nolan. Last to talk on the night will be our guest of honour, Gerry Stembridge.
The event gets underway at 8pm in Backstage.
