The best of Amateur One Act Drama returns to Friars’ Gate for the nineteenth year on Friday 23rd, Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th October @ 8pm. The weekend, the first festival weekend on the One Act Drama Circuit, always attracts some of Ireland’s best amateur theatre companies to Kilmallock vying to win the coveted Best Play Award.
This entertaining weekend will feature Histrionic Productions from Limerick as well as groups from Coachford, Wexford, Clonlara, Kildare, Dublin and Bray performing work by Brian Friel, Jean Paul Sartre, Geraldine Aron, T.C. Murray and many more.
Three one act plays will take place over three nights and the action will be adjudicated by Pat Burke of the Guild of Drama Adjudicators. Season Ticket only €20. Bookings 063-98727

Lunchtime Comedy
On Sunday 25th October @ 1pm - the hilarious The Irish Canon - 10 Plays, 70 characters, three actors will take place at Deebert House Hotel.
